Specials at AB: Kraantje Pappie! Uphigh Collective! [06.02.2012]

Marco Borsato? De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig? Ruud Gullit? Nope, Holland’s coolest exportproduct is Kraantje Pappie, the relentless rapper from Groningen!

We met over a year ago and decided to cooperate on my album, while in the meanwhile Kraantje is taking over the lowlands with his dope melodies and swift verses. He’s my very special guest, February 18th at AB (Brxl). G-g-get ya tickets now, homeboy.

Warm and soulful, skilled in underground manoeuvres: Uphigh Collective! Check out these coolcats from Leuven. Warming you up, very happy to have them on stage with us!

Humo! Arriba! [06.02.2012]

Belgium’s coolest magazine, HUMO, has just put our track ‘BOOTY TRAP’ in their list of favourites. ‘Brutal and infectious darkstep’. Brutal and infectious, our two favourite words from now on.

4 stars review in De Standaard – booya! [04.02.2012]

Wow, Belgian quality newspaper De Standaard just quoted our debut album with four little ****. We don’t often say “that’s really awesome”, but sometimes we just gotta.

So: “THAT’S REALLY AWESOME“.

Single ‘Nice To Be A Girl’ out now! [31.01.2012]

We teamed up with the lovely Eline Mabilde to cook up a poppy dubstep-meets-tomtomclub hitsingle. Catchy hook vs heavy drop, we like.

And be sure to check out the funny videoclip, with a 4y-old and 6y old taking leads. How cute!

How to look cool, part 1 [31.01.2012]

Forget the fake oversized glasses and please don’t waist your money on uggs. You wanna look good, then get yourself a Merdan
Taplak t-shirt!

You can order our – if we may say so ourselves – pretty cool tees online or buy them when we’re touring in your hood. All T-shirts have been designed by Benny Arts, our art director. Check him out!

Very kind review by Rif Raf [31.01.2012]

“A cool eclectic album. Nice line of collaborations, sounds varied and exciting, congratulations. It’s a style! In It For The Honey is more than a nice debutalbum, it’s a confirmation of what we already knew: Merdan Taplak is one of the most interesting producers in Belgium and abroad.”

Very kind of you, Rif Raf!
